In 2027 viert de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Hepatologie haar 50-jarig bestaan. Een mijlpaal die we niet alleen willen vieren, maar vooral samen met jullie willen vormgeven!
Op donderdag 30 september 2027 organiseren wij een bijzonder jubileumsymposium, waarin we vooruitkijken naar de toekomst van de hepatologie. En daar hebben we jouw input voor nodig.
We nodigen je uit om mee te denken over drie vragen:
1. Wat is volgens jou de grootste doorbraak van de afgelopen 50 jaar in de hepatologie?
2. Wat is de belangrijkste openstaande hepatologische onderzoeksvraag?
3. Wat is de belangrijkste doorbraak die je voorziet in de komende 50 jaar?
De inzendingen gebruiken we om het jubileumprogramma vorm te geven, een selectie zal een bijzondere plek tijdens het symposium krijgen.
We werken ondertussen aan een inspirerend programma, bijzondere sprekers en een locatie die past bij dit moment. Maar één ding kunnen we nu al zeggen: dit wordt een jubileum dat we samen maken én samen vieren.

In 2027, the Netherlands Association for the Study of the Liver celebrates its 50th anniversary, a milestone we do not only wish to celebrate, but above all to shape together with you!
On Thursday, 30 september 2027, we will host a special anniversary symposium, looking ahead to the future of hepatology. And for that, we need your input.
We invite you to reflect on three questions:
1. What do you consider the most important breakthrough in hepatology over the past 50 years?
2. What is the most important unanswered research question in hepatology today?
3. What major breakthrough do you foresee in hepatology over the next 50 years?
We will use your contributions to shape the anniversary programme, and a selection will be given a special place during the symposium.
In the meantime, we are working on an inspiring programme, distinguished speakers and a location that fits this occasion. One thing we can already promise: this will be a jubilee that we create and celebrate together.
